Order timing
All products are print on demand. There is not a warehouse just waiting to ship items. So each item will be printed and shipped just for you. That means it will take about 10 days for your order to arrive. I wish I could, but if you want to wear a shirt this weekend, it will probably be next weekend. Just keeping it real. I don't want to upset people.
Why in the world would someone want to do this?
The simple answer is that I am a graphic designer and I like to make things. I’m also a big sports fan, and like the logos that go with teams of all sports. I also enjoy seeing the personal logos of athletes. I know that high school is far more than sports, but a good logo can reach across more than athletics, too. My goal is that anyone associated with each school, whether student, alumni, staff, family, or fan, appreciates my interpretation of how the branding could be. Maybe a school will want to adopt one of these in the future. That said, I am not officially affiliated with any of these schools.
Getting more specific with an answer to the big question above has to bring in the Pocatello High School rebrand. I made quite a few designs when they were thinking about changing. Because of some different expectations, I did not submit any of my designs even though I had created a whole brand, along with a direction to expand. But like I said, I like to design, so I kept it as a fun personal project. You can see some of the work on my behance page.
That got me thinking about other projects. It stood out to me that Century High School could really use some new branding. Like so many other schools, what they were using was a hodge podge of clipart and other logos that college or professional teams already made … along with some poor modifications to said logos. So again, I set out on another fun personal project.
Being one who evaluates logos and designs, I saw so many more local schools that could be reimagined. While I really like the logo that Hillcrest uses, it is basically the Rutgers logo. Same with Skyline and Montana’s paw, and Highland with Fordham’s ram. That was a call for me to start making some new ones all around. I will gradually add other schools, but I figured I should start with the 6A and 5A ones on this side of Idaho.
My kids went to Highland, but I have connections to quite a few of these schools. I can support them all! I hope you all enjoy what I've created.
